What materials are used to make these bottles?
Our bottles are made with sustainable, BPA-free materials, including Ecozen and quick-dry silicone.
Ecozen is an eco-friendly, recyclable material, made from sustainable sources. Ecozen bottles are designed to be extremely durable, and are free of harmful chemicals.
Silicone is a popular material for reusable water bottles due to its flexibility and durability. It can withstand a wide range of temperatures, from -65 degrees F to 400 degrees F. It’s non-toxic, easy to clean, and extremely lightweight. Our quick-drying silicone eliminates leftover water in the trough after your dog finishes drinking, which helps prevent excess water from getting on your stuff!
Are the Lil Gulps dishwasher safe?
While the transparent bottle and filter cradle are top-rack dishwasher safe, the silicone trough is not dishwasher safe. We recommend hand washing the silicone trough with warm water and soap.
Where can I bring my Lil Gulp?
The Lil Gulp is the ultimate doggy hydration accessory, whether you’re out on an adventure, or just lying about the house. You can hold the bottle in the air, allowing your dog to drink from the trough, or use our unique lay-flat design to allow your dog to drink from the trough as it rests on the ground.
We also designed a gorgeous carabiner which you can use to clip your doggy water bottle to your dog backpack, leash, or…well…clip it anywhere!
How do I use the carbon filter?
Your new Lil Gulp comes with a carbon filter already inside! Before using the bottle, be sure to remove the carbon filter, and thoroughly wash the entire bottle. Replace the carbon filter in the cradle, and run water through the filter mechanism three times to remove any excess carbon sediment before giving any water to your dog.
We recommend replacing your carbon filter every three months.
